The New Mexico State Library’s Northeast Bookmobile Service will be visiting Carson on November 3 and December 1, from 2.30pm to 3.00pm. The bookmobile will be parked at the Carson Cafe and Store. The library is providing limited ‘day run’ only services at this time, and each stop will be for 30 minutes only.
Patrons are requested not to visit if they feel sick in any way, and to remember that masks will be required as well as 6ft social distancing.
No-one will be allowed to board the bookmobile. Instead, a table will be set up outside the bookmobile for drop-off and pick-up of library items. Only one person at a time will be allowed to come up to the table. Patrons returning items must have them in a bag which they place on the table for pickup.
You can also place holds / requests through the online catalog, by phone 575-376-2474, or email [email protected]. Requests need to be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the bookmobile’s next visit. You can also hand over a list of books you would like the bookmobile to bring to you on their next visit.
The library is happy to help with eBooks and books by mail – contact Laura Gonzales at 575-376-2474 or [email protected].
