PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FIREWISE EVENT ORIGINALLY PLANNED FOR MARCH 21 HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Following recommended guidelines and for the sake of the more vulnerable in our community, the 2020 Carson FireWise Day, organized by the Carson Community Association, is being POSTPONED from March 21 tentatively to Saturday May 9th, 12 noon to 3:00 pm at the Carson Volunteer Fire Department.

We will send an email out before the event encouraging Carson residents to attend the rescheduled meetings, which is an important and informative event to keep us brushed up on what to do in the event of a fire, both as a community and as individuals.

We do need to hold this event in due course as we need to accumulate credits for attendance, to maintain our FireWise designation. As the presence of residents really does make a difference, we try to make it interesting and fun, and we provide pizza and refreshments.

The planned surprise announcement from our Carson Volunteer Fire Department which will now be postponed as well.

Please bring a chair.

Stay well and take precautions to avoid getting sick or infected.
