Food, music, fun, and great prizes

Carson’s Fall Festival this year will run on October 1, from 11–4pm. Save this date and join in the fun and festivities. This event is CCA’s primary fundraiser to support its regular activities, and work on some priorities. It also provides an opportunity for the community to meet new neighbors and catch up with old neighbors they haven’t seen in a while.

There will be live music from local musicians, food from a grill and smoker, activities and booths, and three raffle drawings in different value bands.

GAMES & CONTESTS: Have fun testing your skills in various games and contests such as horseshoes, archery, corn hole, and sack races among others.

EXHIBITS & BOOTHS: Learn about the activities of local groups and how you can take part or support them. The Carson Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a U-Carwash.

KIDS’ CORNER: Bring your kids and let them have fun in the Kids’ Corner, with supervised activities such as face painting, pumpkin carving, and junior sack races.

MUSIC: You can enjoy live music from the stage. Green Oaks, featuring Carson’s own Kritter Krout, will be the headliner, with other musicians filling in between. Raffle  drawings and activity announcements will take place when the musicians take a break.

FOOD: There will be all kinds of food for all tastes, including vegan options: vegan, salmon and regular burgers, sausages, brats, hot dogs, and more, in addition to a bakesale. Beer, sodas, and margaritas will be sold by Carson Cafe who will also offer pizzas (including vegan options).

RAFFLE: Raffle tickets are now on sale at $3 each, $10 for five tickets. We hope they will soon be available from the Carson Cafe, and there are sellers out and about in the community. If you want tickets now contact us at CCA@carsonnm.org and we’ll get some to you..

We’re gathering a great raft of prizes for the raffle! And more prizes are being added daily. Please check back.
