In recent years, the CCA has organized a community swap meet / yard sale billed as the Spring Bling Fling. Past events have been held either at the Carson Fire Station or Carson Store. The event is very informal, and people bring their quality items to sell. In past years, vendors donated 20% of their sales to the CCA. In 2023, CCA decided to streamline administration logistics by requesting a standard $10 donation per table from vendors.
The CCA reviewed the event in early 2022 and rebadged it as the Carson Community Spring Sales Event. To turn it into a more social event, we try to add live music and food fresh off the grill for sale. CCA has a limited number of popups, tables, and chairs which can be setup on request, and Carsonites are encouraged to bring their own.
The event is a great opportunity to meet and socialize with neighbors, as well as to buy and sell, and support your community association.
