Elections Are Coming!

There are two elections on the horizon.

  • 2020 Primary Election – June 2, 2020
  • 2020 General Election – November 3, 2020

Given social/physical distancing recommendations currently in force, you may want to apply for an Absentee Ballot, so you can vote by mail. You can print the form for absentee ballot application here:

Once you have completed the form, you must mail it to the the county clerk so that she receives it no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 for the 2020 Primary Election, and again Thursday, October 30, 2020 for the General Election. You have to submit an application for each election.

Within twenty-three (23) days of Election Day, the county clerk must either mail the ballot or notice of rejection to the applicant as soon as practicable; provided that the ballot or a notice of rejection is sent not later than twenty-two (22) days before the election.
