While cattle are grazed under permit on the Carson National Forest, they are to be found regularly in other areas where they should not be, for example on the road verge or on your property. On the road they are a hazard to human life as a result of risk of collision with cars, and on your property that can do an enormous amount of damage. If you see cattle outside of the National Forest, please call Jake Vigil at (505) 927-3333.
