2022 Thanksgiving Feast

The 2022 Carson Thanksgiving Feast will take place from 2pm on Sunday November 13 at the Carson Fired Station. The Carson Community Association will be providing turkey, mashed potatoes, trimmings, and rolls. If you wish you can also donate a dish of your own for the potluck section: main course, vegetable sides, or dessert, vegetarian and vegan especially welcome. Please bring your own chair. Plasticware and plates will be provided, but if you bring your own silverware and plate/bowl this will help minimize clean up and trash. Volunteers are needed for help in setting up and clearing up after.

Last year’s Thanksgiving Feast, the first ever for Carson, was organized by the newly elected CCA board as a way to bring the community together and to allow the many people who live on their own to celebrate this holiday with others. The event proved very popular, drawing more than 60 people who enjoyed the feast of turkey and trimmings cooked by volunteers, and vegetarian and vegan offerings brought by community members, as well as the warm spirit of camaraderie with neighbors.
